Help enhance my introduction from my FDR paper!?

"We have nothing to fear, but fear itself", an infamous quote heard around the world by the 32nd president also know as Franklin Delano Roosevelt(FDR). In a time when the United States was in an economic catastrophe known as the Great Depression there was no other person ready to handle the distress and fear in the american people then FDR. He was a man who was capable of pulling the United States away from economic, political, and social disaster and help lay a foundation for future stability and prosperity.
