I have an 18-month-old son. He's not even close to being your average child. We have windows upstairs, and they have ledges big enough for him to stand in and walk along. every chance he gets he's walking on them. at first i thought he was climbing up onto them from our bed, so i moved it. he is still able to get in them though. he just grabs a hold of the edge and swings himself up. I know that they cannot diagnose autism until 18-24 months, but I also know that early intervention is key if the child is ever to lead a relatively normal life. Should I just keep my mouth shut and try to work with the little girl when she is with me, or should I say something to her mother about it? I don't want to risk losing my job over this, because I love working for this family, but I also don't want to see this little girl grow up without treatment.

Missed a scheduled visit through Family Access Center?

Ok, I am really scared right now and the reason being is I have a 3 yr old ant an 18 month old and I barely get to see them because their fathers are accusing me of abuse so they showed the courts pictures of bumps and bruises all of which were caused from accidents they would have my daughter (3 yr old) is a klutz and my son just started to learn to walk. Any ways, today (Sunday) I was supposed to go to an appointment to see her at the Family Access Center, and due to the fact of 3 life-changing things happening to me at once (I am pregnant, getting married in 19 days, and court for custody just a week after that) and was doing a garage sale with my parents to raise money for it, I somehow forgot that I had to see her today. I consciously knew that today was Sunday, but it never occurred to me until 7pm when I was supposed to see her at 1. I know there is no excuse that even God could have to make it reasonable as to missing that appointment. When I realized what happened, I tried calling, the people who work there are going to be out until the 16th, and I can't find any of the paperwork from the intake appointment so I have to ask on here because I looked everywhere on the site and everywhere even then. I can't sleep so I just need reurance. Will the Family Access Center stop letting me use them? It was just one time but I need to know so I can sleep. I know there is nothing I can do know but if they still let me, I am going to step it up. What will they do?

Kitten Development Question?

I am fostering a mom cat & her 4 kittens. They were found under a thorny bush and I had to be rather deliberate about catching them and bringing them to safety. Three kittens have adapted to being in my house, but one male kitten still acts very aggressive all the time. I know it's because it's scared. I have tried many tactics, like wrap it in a towel and pet it, comfort it, talk to it, and feed it by hand. I've also left it on its own to see if it would come around. Any time I've held it, or tried to get close to it, it hisses, spits, and growls, then shakes as if it's scared. I believe the litter is about 5 weeks old. They all have taken to soft food and use the litter box, including this one troubled kitten. Any input on how to tame this kitty?

I would recommend the BlackBerry Curve as you will get excellent battery life and the keypad is better, in my opinion. The keypad on the Centro is somewhat cramped and small, while the keypad on the Curve is much more spacious. It is excellent for texting.

Having trouble with putting music videos on my ipod...any suggestions?

I am trying to put a music video on my 30gb ipod. I can't get it to transfer over onto the ipod in a playlist, and I can't see anyplace to check which music videos to sync. Need help identifying a berry shrub or small tree....?

about 8 feet tall, with multiple limbs growing from one root ball. Limb are small and twiggy, and no leaves present right now. I thought it was a crepe myrtle by the leaves I spotted on it earlier in the month, but it has small, black berries present on it now with no leaves, so I don't think it was was I thought. I only recently bought the house and have no knowledge of what type of blooms it might have had. No thorns present and wood looks to be yellow when cut. I'm inclined to think that you don't have shin splints...your pain sounds more localized in the ankle/foot area. Shin splints are very noticeable in the shins and make it painful to walk on hard surfaces. You could try wrapping them to prevent them from flexing as much, but I would go see a doctor to prevent further injury.

Pulling tampon out before its saturated?

My boyfriend admitted that he had with his mother?

I knew long before I began dating my boyfriend that he had emotional issues. For example, when I first met him a few years back, he couldn't even look somebody in the face (he just stared at the floor). I think is gross but I really feel for him. I mean, the way she acts around him, it does all fit (I thought he was just a mama's boy but now thinking about it, the way she acts around him is a little too ual for a mother/son relationship). Like I said, I feel bad for him but I don't know if I can accept it. How can I cope with this because I'd like to stay with him because he's just so nice. He's 17 (18 next month) and I'm 16.

Hi, my uncle is a Cuban American. He studied in the University of Havana in Cuba. He earned his master degree. I am not exactly sure, but I think he is what people refer to as a Physician (from Physics) Mathematician. He entered into a study in his school where there were initially 300 people, and only 9 graduated, including himself. Basically, he did a lot of studying related to electricity and specially magnetism, studied nano technology, and you can basically just see aruond that area. He did research until he was 28 years old. He came to this country and he initially tried to get in course with what he was familiar with in Cuba. He had a child, and had to start working with whatever he could do support his family. He was working like a dog for a very long time and wasnt able to get into anything, creating a "gap" in his resume. Currently, he's a trucker and basically works the entire time to support his family. He does not have time to go to a school (continued in edit)

There is not a lot you can do to get rid of one type of bird and not the others. As long as you are putting food out..it is pretty much a free for all. You can completely take down your feeders, or you can try to put out food for both types of birds, put a hummingbird feeder on one side of the yard, and an oriole feeder on the other. I have to 5 month old puppies, both Labs, Ellie and Luke. Luke LOVES our pool, he jumps right in the second you say the word. As for Ellie, she'll wade in the first two steps and stay there, no farther. We've been working with them where we coax them to the steps with treats, then once they're standing on the steps we hold them under they're tummy and swim around, we still do that with Ellie, sometimes, she goes on the steps whenever the heck she wants to, but Luke's got the swimming down. DONT get a cheap one from wal mart. I'd get a cheap Bernina or Janome because they are great machines which are sturdy. You should probably expect to pay about $250 for a good starter machine that does all the basic stitches. A computerized machine is way too advanced for a beginner. Get one from a reputable sewing/vacuum store and get it serviced regularly. The one I bought had free servicing for a year so when I kept messing things up as a beginner it was free to fix. That's not true of a wal mart cheap machine. I think the extra expense is worth the help for the fixes!

I started college in 2002 and stopped attending after the spring of 2004 semester. After my six month grace period, I entered deferment on my federal loans and I'm not entirely certain about my private loans. I then started college again in the spring of 2005 so my deferment/forbearance period became a period of in-school deferment/forbearance. I stopped attending after that semester and since I had already used my six month grace period, I immediately began making repayments. I have been back in college now for the past year and will be so for another year to come. I contacted my lender and was told I could have in-school forbearance. Main reason for yawning is the body needs a mive dose of oxygen because you are not giving it what it needs at certain times during the day. There are 2 core reasons for not breathing properly. Poor posture eliminates one of the causes (won't give you the cause because most just deny it) and eliminating stress waxes the other! Fear and stress cause people to hold their breath. (I slept like a rock but only for 5 hours a day) A simple note on the hand to do 5 deep breaths every time I looked at the note fixed it to the point I forgot about the problem. Make a reminder. By the way the by-product of 5 deep breaths many times a day was a gain of 1 1/2 grades! I started to get a "B"+ average in my final days of school. Freaky cool!
