I have a question about my research paper?

So I am writing a research paper on George Orwell's novel animal farm. I say the author's name and the name of the book in the thesis statement however I would like to use it again in the introduction to help the paragraph flow. Would it be awkward or repetitive to use them twice in the same paragraph? Please help. I have bad writer's block. This is 30% of my grade so please help! Thank you!
