Does lifting your truck effect your driving?

Im a newish driver i havn't drove much i have a steel body chevy silverado with a long bed and i want to lift it about 6 inches i was going to do 4 but im going to do 6 with 35 inch tires.Im ok at balancing the vehicle weight changes as im new to driving at first i was terribe but now im preety good i can drive fine a little consciouse but fine at everything.Im going to buy a stabilizer bar under the truck idk what its called i think a traction bar or something for when i get the rough country lift.Its a add a leaf suspension.But i want to know would a lift be hard to drive even when i put a traction bar for swerving and such what do you guys think?
