Green stuff on my tampons?

i have wore tampons all the time during my period this week so, today i took mine out and found green slimy mucus dot on my tampon and its been like that for about 2 days.In the same place. im 13 and not ually active but i masturbate with dirty unclean objects.So................ i need some help.Is this normal? should i tell my mom?
